February 2017 – workshop presenting the emerging vision

The emerging vision for the former Kingston Penitentiary and Portsmouth Olympic Harbour sites was presented to the public at workshop #3. A survey was conducted to provide input on the emerging vision.

November 2016 - exploration illustrations survey

Based on your input at the October charettes, focus groups and open house session, four designs for the former Kingston Penitentiary and Portsmouth Olympic Harbour sites have been drafted.

October 2016

The workshop and design charrette is for the team working with the public to develop a few conceptual plans that demonstrate options for the property. The concept plans will show options for access (roads, trails, parking), options for building location, mass and height, options for green space and options for the marina. The options will enable the team and the community to understand the full range of possibilities for the site.

October 13: Open house

Drop in between 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. to review eight concepts generated from the October 12 sessions and to review the consulting team's synthesis of the eight plans to three to four plans that will be moved forward for more detailed analysis.

  • Location: Portsmouth Olympic Harbour in the Press Lounge
