Description:

Ben Darrah is a Mixed- and Multi-Media sculptor, painter, print-maker, drawing and public artist. He has been an Adjunct Professor at Queen's University, and taught for St. Lawrence College and the Limestone District School Board. Ben has had his work displayed at the Rails End (Haliburton, Ontario) and Agnes Etherington (Kingston) art galleries, and taught the Agnes Etherington Art smARTs summer program for students.

Ben teaches a range of workshops for a range of ages and abilities, including landscape painting, plaster casting, historical portrait painting, life drawing, perspective, watercolour, abstract painting, clay sculpture, charcoal/pen and ink drawing, colour theory, relief painting, graffiti, collage, and business for artists. He focuses on teaching specific art techniques while establishing personal voice, and mentoring developing artists as they critically respond to existing art.

Ben prefers to teach Elementary, Middle, and High school students, as well as Adults, Seniors, Families and Special Needs.
