Wallace Edwards is an accomplished visual artist and educator. Wallace studied at Ontario College of Art and has since had a successful career as a freelance illustrator for over 25 years. Wallace began as a freelance illustrator in Toronto, and worked for over twenty years for a variety of clients including Toronto Life Magazine, Ontario Out of Doors Magazine, and the Metropolitan Toronto Zoo. For the last fourteen years Wallace has expanded into writing and illustrating children's books. These books have received a number of awards and special recognition over the years, including the Governor General's award.

Wallace has experience creating and delivering a variety of illustration programs. Potential programs include: drawing lessons in both black-and-white and in colour at a beginner level to more advanced level, cartooning and drawing from the imagination, using both pencils and watercolours, and seminars on how to get your books published and prepare samples to submit for publication. Wallace strives to share his experience and impart as much technique as possible to help his students find their own style and visual expression.

Wallace prefers working with elementary, middle and high school students, as well as adults, seniors, families and people with special needs.
