Kay Kenney is a passionate dance teacher and artist. She graduated from the 3 year Professional Contemporary Dance Diploma Programme at the School of Dance in Ottawa where she also received her Elementary Cecchetti Ballet Certificate. Over the past four years, Kay has had numerous teaching experiences with children, youth, and adults alike. She has taught professional, pre-professional and recreational movement classes in Kingston, Ottawa, Toronto, and Montreal. Kay also has experience working in schools delivering workshops that link creative movement with the curriculum.

Kay's workshops involve dance and movement. In her workshops, Kay always likes to start the workshop with an informal showing of a piece she has been working on in order to expose the class to the world of contemporary art. Kay ends the session with the students demonstrating what they have created over the workshop.
