Debbie Laprade is an accomplished musician, primarily in vocals. She has worked simultaneously as a career counselor and singer-songwriter, winning the ‘Voice of Kingston' competition in 2004. Debbie has performed with Grammy and Juno winning artists, and at the acclaimed Apollo Theatre in New York City. She is currently working on her debut solo CD.

Debbie bases her workshops on the safe mastery of vocal technique, teaching participants to effectively use their voices as a means to soulful expression. She has run themes such as Little Stars, a pop-song focused program that gives participants a chance to perform for family and friends with an experienced coach, as well as Effective Strategies for Working with At-Risk Youth, which covered subjects such as communication, crisis intervention and conflict resolution.

Debbie prefers to work with Elementary and High school students, as well as Adults and Seniors.
