On March 25, 2015, City council approved the development of an 11-storey multi-unit residential building with retail spaces at ground level at 495 Princess St. 

Excavation of the site began in Jan. 2020, with construction scheduled to begin in April 2020.

• Construction is allowed on site Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. as allowed in the City's Noise Bylaw.
