Join us for a special event to celebrate the 2023 Mayor’s Arts Awards recipients! The Mayor's Arts Awards is an annual recognition program that celebrates high artistic achievement and recognizes extraordinary contributions in and to the arts. The Mayor's Arts Awards recognizes three categories of contribution: Creator Awards, Arts Champion Award and Limestone Arts Legacy Award.
Hosted by Mayor Bryan Paterson and the Arts & Culture Services department, the event will unveil the five recipients of the 2023 program, premiere profile videos created about the artists and organizations being honoured, and celebrate their contributions to the arts in Kingston. 
All are welcome to this free celebration of the arts in Kingston!

Enjoy refreshments and a cash bar. ASL translation services will be provided.

The City, through the Arts & Culture Services department, administers the Mayor's Arts Awards program and works with the Kingston Arts Council to document and promote the work of award recipients through the creation of profile videos. The nomination of award recipients is facilitated through the Arts Advisory Committee which establishes a Nominations Working Group each year for this purpose.
