The Recreation & Leisure Services Department is partnering with the Kingston Racquet Centre (KRC), located at 1025 Innovation Drive, to offer drop-in times throughout the week to play Pickleball or Tennis. Pickleball & Tennis at the KRC will require participants to pre-register online up to 48 hours prior to the advertised start times to reserve a space. Debit, credit & cash payments for City drop-in programs will not be accepted at KRC. City of Kingston Racquet Sports memberships will permit you to access Pickleball or Tennis by registering online using your play card. There is no extra fee for pass holders.

Non-team use of sports fields and courts that allow you to maintain a 2-metre distance in groups of five or fewer at all times are permitted. Pickleball is similar to tennis, with a few variations. A Pickleball ball moves much slower than a tennis ball, you play on a badminton court and the net is lower, making the game accessible to people of all ages and abilities. The City of Kingston outdoor multi-use courts are open from April to October (weather permitting). Public courts are free and available to the public at all times, on a first come, first served basis. As a multi-use court, please bring your own net, paddle and pickleball to play.
Looking to play inside? The City offers Drop In Pickleball programming at various times throughout the year. You must have a membership or pay a drop-in rate to access Pickleball at Artillery Park Aquatic Centre, Rideau Heights Community Centre or Kingston East Community Centre. Nets and pickleballs are provided and a few paddles are available for new players. Pre-register today to save your spot or drop in!
