Continued stakeholder and public engagement remains vital to the success of this project for the community. The City is planning meaningful communication and engagement programs that include stakeholder meetings, one-on-one site meetings, public open houses, online updates and engagement, participation at public events, surveys, brainstorming workshops and other outreach opportunities. Engagement for the project will touch on items such as:

• Minimizing construction-related impacts
• Re-naming the bridge
• protecting the environment
• detailed design and aesthetics, and
• integrating public art.
