Statutory Open House: March 30

Staff held a statutory open house from 6 – 8 p.m. on March 30. The session was be conducted virtually, via Zoom. Watch the recording on YouTube

Statutory Public Meeting: April 7

The final draft of the new Kingston Zoning Bylaw , the Official Plan amendment and the proposed Cash-in-lieu of Parking Bylaw will be presented at a statutory public meeting of Planning Committee, scheduled for 6 p.m. on April 7.  

This will be a virtual meeting. Details around how to view and participate in the meeting are available on the Planning Committee page.

Special Meeting of Council: April 26

If approved at planning committee on April 7, the final recommendations w will be presented at a special meeting of Council, scheduled for 6 p.m. on April 26.  

Review the draft New Zoning Bylaw on Get Involved Kingston 

Staff have completed the second draft of New Zoning Bylaw. Residents are invited to read the draft and share questions and comments online through Get Involved Kingston by Nov. 5, 2021.

Statutory Public Meeting: Oct. 13

The second draft of the New Zoning Bylaw will be presented at a statutory public meeting of Planning Committee, scheduled for 6 p.m. on Sept. 30.

It's time to zone in! Before the first draft of the city-wide Zoning Bylaw is released, we are holding two Zoning 101 – information sessions to offer you the zoning bylaw basics. 

Zoning Bylaw open house: Oct. 27, 2016

The first draft of the new City-wide Zoning Bylaw was presented at this open house. There was an informal opportunity to review key topics and preview the sections, along with a formal presentation explaining the background work done to complete the first draft, how to navigate the bylaw, where to find information and how to be engaged in the project.
